However, their newfound friendship took an ominous turn when the Russian police swooped in, arresting Einride on suspicions of involvement with the Russian mafia. The Russian companion, linked to organized crime, managed to slip away, leaving Einride to face a night behind bars. During his brief incarceration, Einride discovered that his Russian friend had stolen the key to his apartment, and upon his release, Einride returned to find his home ransacked.
