Giantheo had a fantastic year in 2023, with three hit songs on the Independent Charts. They’re releasing a new single called “Tommy at the Amusement Park”. Theo dedicates this special song to his 9-year-old son, Tommaso. The song “Tommy at the Amusement Park” is about Tommaso’s life and dreams. Real moments with his family inspire some of the lyrics, while his favorite TikTok videos inspire others. The song is catchy and relatable to anyone who wants to go to an amusement park and have fun. The “Tommy at the Amusement Park” music video is like a dream. It depicts a car ride with two distinct scenes, one where the child behaves well and looks carefully, and another where he’s being his true self and daydreaming. Mauro Cartapani directed the video.
In 2003, Giancarlo and Theo, two musicians, met and became friends, leading to the creation of Giantheo. They started making music together, which quickly became popular. They appeared on the TV show “Le Iene”, and two music collections featured their song “Tortuga”. They emerged victorious in a music competition called Festivalshow, and they showcased their talents on numerous TV shows and festivals throughout Italy. After taking a break and working on separate projects, Giancarlo and Theo returned together as Giantheo.
They released another music project inspired by “Catene”, one of their new songs. They released “Uni Verso”, a number-one hit in Italy, and then a ballad named “Mar Profondo”. In 2023, they released two more songs, “Quattro Stagioni” and “Figli delle Stelle”. Giantheo’s new song, “Tommy at the Amusement Park”, is heartfelt and relatable, keeping up its tradition of making music from the heart. It’s about joyful childhood dreams, memories, and special times with family.
