Trauma, neglect, abuse from childhood to end of life from physical, emotional through to spiritual; it’s real to many walking the planet today.
If you haven’t experienced it you are bound to have people you know who have or currently are.
“Stop and Hear” written on Christmas Day like other days – Fathers or Mother’s Day was impacted by the careless act of another causing me to relive a life time of former abuse and recent years of spiritual abuse from pastors flashed before my eyes.
Expressive phrases, metaphors and choice of words only come from a life lived with deep seated trauma of one healed walking in forgiveness towards those in the past.
Yet one we sometimes relive at the carelessness of others idle words or actions in a particular moment.
We should choose to learn to pause in certain moments to bring life to others, more importantly we should “Stop and Hear” those around us from the smallest child to those close to departing this world.
