Red Skies Mourning released a new album entitled “Myosotis”, which is an interesting alloy of different genres and lyrical canvas. The recording was done at the CREATE Music Group located in Los Angeles and was written under personal relations, self, and time. The project is led by Chris Aleshire alongside producer CESAR and co-writer Ryan Curtis, forward and create a different sound that does not conform to one specific genre.
“Obvious”, a particularly notable song, tackles contemporary cultural issues, mainly focusing on the role that modern devices and mobile phones have played in undermining human interaction and an ability to care. The enjoyment ought to be in reconnecting with the world, the message is strong. The first few songs on the album like “Already Know” introduce its reflective mood with a monotonous but sweet rhythm and the admired mellowed harmonies. “Borderline” and “How Do I Sleep” detail the sentiments of fragility and depth of feeling, while the songs “Way Up” and “Satellite” are of a different more pleasing upbeat excitement.
Every composition from Myositis is, one may say, a short story. Their concise and accurate language is filled with emotions. The track may sound polished yet it closely emits an emotion that still exhibits a natural charm. Despite the extreme charm and pathetic stage scenery Aleshire is not only singing, he is singing something stylized either way. And in a specific case, it is stylized as a rhythmic ballad or an upbeat track respectively.
