Cory Legendre, who has been making music since his childhood, has released his new album, “Reunited”. He has made this album as a tribute to his parents, Lois and Walt Legendre, who have left this world. This album is more than just a collection of songs; it is a heartfelt tribute to their memory and love. Cory’s father left this world in March 2012, and his mother left in August 2023.
Cory got the idea for this album from his mother’s wish for a creative memorial instead of a regular funeral. Hence, he created “Reunited” in a way that tells the heart-touching story of the love, loss, and healing experienced by his family. This album has two official songs, “Dressed in Black” and “Live Life All The Way”, which reflect Cory’s emotional lyrics, co-written with David Alan Johnson. Chas Evans composed the music, while Master One produced it. These songs are a mixture of modern genres that reflect how diverse a musical background the artist has.
Cory has explored a wide range of musical styles, like country, rock, modern, and pop, in his career. Due to his health, he took a break from music, but he never let his passion for music go far. He entered back into the music world with his modern Christmas song, “Present for Everyone”. Cory released “Reunited” on July 24th, 2024, the first anniversary after his parents’ deaths. By this album, Cory wants to pay tribute to his parents and comfort others who have experienced the same loss in their lives.
