Dwayna Litz is an American singer, songwriter, author and speaker. She was called an “Artist to Watch” by Spin Magazine in 2025 with her single “Stayin’ Gone.” Her first cut as a songwriter was with Patti LaBelle on her Grammy nominated Gold “Flame” album for a song she penned called, “Let Me Be There for You.” Dwayna recorded her “Counting Your Blessings” album with a full orchestra of new renditions of the Great American Songbook and was the last to record at Tony Bennett’s studio before it closed in Englewood, NJ. Her music is published with Universal Music, Spirit Music Group and her own publishing company, Litz Music. With elements of country, rock, pop, Jazz, bluegrass and Gospel, Dwayna has a sound all her own.

“America Come Home” is a plea– THIS song was written as a tribute to the America we used to have– before the shootings within and now the war with Iran, dedicated to every single adult and child who has been innocently killed in this war. It is a plea for more love in the world and less bombs and thankful for the freedom—based on moral principles—that has built America in years gone by to be known as the greatest nation on earth. May we come back home to those moral principles today.

“America Come Home” debuted last month on the MMD College Radio Charts at #12 and continues to be played on non-commercial, community-owned FM stations throughout the USA.

All proceeds go to help underprivileged children and teens raised in crime filled areas of America.

(Caveat:  Dwayna’s next single—soon to come for Spotify, FM Stations and Sirius– is a song she wrote last month called “My People,” about being on the side of love in a land so divided, especially in a time of war).
