On War Against Reality, K6R6NZ6N does not present an EP so much as an intrusion. The project exists in a liminal state—neither band nor persona—channeling witch house, dark electronics, post-punk decay, and black-metal aesthetics into something deliberately unresolved. From the outset, the atmosphere is hostile and immersive, built on repetition, industrial restraint, and spectral vocal presences that feel dragged up from beneath the surface. This is music designed to destabilize rather than reassure, positioning the listener inside a collapsing psychic landscape where form is constantly eroding.

The tracks unfold like fragments of a single ritual rather than isolated compositions. “Rotten Hallucinations” and “Dust In The Shadows” establish a suffocating tone, combining slow, grinding electronics with warped textures that blur perception and time. “Sathan Trismegistus” and “Demon of Swords” deepen the sense of occult symbolism, using stark contrasts—especially sharp, female vocal elements—to cut through the murk like warning signals. These moments feel ceremonial yet confrontational, as if invoking forces that are never fully named but constantly implied.

As the EP moves into “Putrefacción” and “Maldición,” K6R6NZ6N leans further into decay and repetition, allowing the sound to rot, loop, and corrode itself. The closing stretch doesn’t resolve the tension; it amplifies it, reinforcing the project’s identity as a “threshold entity”—something suspended between genres, meanings, and states of being. War Against Reality is not meant to be consumed casually. It is an interference, a dark electronic rite that lingers uncomfortably after the final sound fades, leaving the listener altered rather than entertained.
