Driven by pounding rhythms, harsh textures, and commanding energy, “Savage Media” explores modern dependence on technology—examining how we willingly surrender to it, for better or worse. The result is a relentless, club-ready track with a dystopian pulse and a hypnotic intensity.
Twice Dark is the brainchild of Bloomington, Indiana artist Josh Kreuzman, founded in 2020. Rooted in a fascination with decaying industrial spaces and neo-gothic atmospheres, the project blends goth, industrial, EBM, italo disco, deathrock, coldwave, and darkwave into a sound that feels both nostalgic and otherworldly. As Post-Punk.com described, it exists “in auditory shadows,” echoing the spirit of the 1980s underground. Kreuzman’s background spans decades of musical exploration, from early punk bands in the 1990s to indie rock and beyond—eventually coalescing into the dark, genre-blurring identity of Twice Dark. In 2022, he curated the Midwest Gothic compilation, spotlighting regional talent and reinforcing his connection to the underground scene. With Welcome to the Night Show on the horizon, Twice Dark continues to push deeper into shadowy electronic landscapes—cementing its place as a rising force in modern darkwave.
