“Anuther Sunny Hulliday” is the debut single from Mick J. Clark and is a track made to make people smile and dance! The positive vibes are bursting through the speakers when this little number gets going and a cheerful summer feeling is present straight from the word go. A very lighthearted and happy track that was made to inspire and entertain young children to smile and dance! The title has been purposely misspelt so that it mimics how Mick vocalizes the word “holiday” when he is singing. Honest, genuine, fun and refreshing that is why I would choose this and not stop singing it on repeat because of the innocence in it, and the playful little quirky fun children will love to get involved with.
The action song reminds me of being on holiday. The idea of being on a plane or on a boat on holiday, the little excitement, things that happen along the way are crammed into under three minutes and the simplicity of a singable song that will invite children to join in with the chorus, the simple dance moves with a dancing parrot that mimics the lyrics to the song as well.
Entertaining children seems to be a huge part of the song and with the use of this visual parrot the song might engage with more than just their listening ear. It was created with children in mind, an engagement tool that will pull the eyes as well as the body into participating on a “sit-down dance”. I find the whole concept from dancing to the misspelt title and the dancing parrot adorable and very amusing. Children are very easy to please, a little smile, a little dance and the adults are giggling in the background at this cute little ear worm too.
