The first album from Teika & The Raw Beat titled ‘Bones’n’Stones’ develops gradually to become an emotional masterpiece that resonates with both intimate and universal tones. The album starts with its title track “Bones’n’Stones” featuring Berlin-based songwriter Mateja Kert who creates a shadowy atmosphere with quiet vocal delivery and consistent instrumental backing. The track “The Garden” starts with a haunting tranquility which develops into darker depths allowing listeners space to reflect. “Overdrive” bursts with rhythmic power and intense emotion whiSaviour Saviour” rings out as a heart-wrenching plea directed at an invisible yet tangible force. One track smoothly transitions into the next while maintaining its unique identity.

Midway through, the mood doesn’t let up. The stripped-down and acoustic elements of “Ragged Plumes” give prominence to Kert’s husky voice which sustains the track’s weight. The song “The Journey (Goes On)” uplifts listeners through its slow-paced march and understated orchestration that provides a glimpse of hope. “Angel At My Door” and “To My Knees” both express melancholy through serene compositions that maintain their raw edge while staying controlled. “Gone With The Wind” delivers a timeless message through quiet reflection while “Naked Eye” explores cinematic qualities by equally leveraging space and silence alongside sound.

The last section of this album includes several unforgettable sequences. The lead single “Falling In Love” combines bold vocals with a rich arrangement which explains why it earned early critical praise. The album concludes with the gentle yet strong finish of “Save A Light” reminiscent of providing illumination during darkness. ‘Bones’n’Stones’ maintains a quiet presence and waits patiently for an audience to discover its music.
