“Mass destruction (of my head)”, a new song by London-based artist CARRIE ABYSS, is coming. This song combines heavy metal music with ethereal vocals, similar to Björk’s style. The song tells the story of a young woman from the Middle East trying to find her place in the world but struggling with emotional and cultural pressures that keep breaking her down. Experts Bernadette Lara, Onur Erdem Ünal, and Stephen Kerrison recorded and produced the single “Mass Destruction of My Head” at two universities in London. The song is an intense and powerful mix of sounds, with dreamy synths, heavy guitars, and layered vocals, creating a solid and immersive experience for listeners. It’s described as a furious and maximalist track, similar to the final battle in a video game where the female hero seeks revenge and is distributed by the state51 Conspiracy.
