The band Fury of a Dying Planet has released their debut album, also known as “Fury of a Dying Planet”, on all music streaming services. The band started working on the album during the COVID lockdowns. With the help of Bec from Bullet on a String (who designed the artwork and logo) and Chris Allan (who played drums and mixed the album), they could turn their demo recordings into a complete album. Over 100,000 people have already streamed the album “Fury of a Dying Planet” from its first three songs, “Bloodied Fjords”, “Repetition to Extinction”, and “Captive”. The album has lyrics that care about the Earth, intense metal music, and powerful singing, making it a song for the planet and people who want to save it.

Doug Rimington, the driving force behind the music project, drew inspiration from the Netflix documentary “Seaspiracy” to craft lyrics that forcefully advocate for environmental issues. The first six songs on the album combine progressive metal and ambient melodies, keeping listeners interested. Later, the album added two more instrumental tracks, demonstrating the evolution and growth of Fury of a Dying Planet’s music. “Heroes of the Earth,” a hopeful song that honors those who sacrifice their lives to save the planet, concludes the album. Doug Rimington, a talented musician and producer from London, wrote the lyrics, played the music, and produced the album. He received assistance from Paul Brigstock on vocals, Chris Allan on drums and mixing, and Justin Hill on final touches. Artist Bec Dennison designed the primary logo and created three posters for the first three songs, inspired by 80s horror movies. The posters show the planet’s life fading away, matching the album’s theme of environmental concern.

Bec is a friend of the artist who helped create the music project’s visual identity. Doug is thrilled about the album’s release and hopes it will help people become more aware of environmental issues and inspire those fighting to protect the planet. He wants the album to be a powerful and emotional expression of support for people who care deeply about the Earth.
